DISSIMILAR  METAL  BONDING

AHTC strives to be the first company to
commercialize portable impact bonding of
dissimilar metals. Bonding of dissimilar
metals is done when the properties of two
metals are needed in one part or the joining
of two metals is needed to prevent galvanic
corrosion or electric arcing.  This can be
done when they are impacted together

sufficiently.  The highest quality dissimilar
metal bond is presently done by explosives.
AHTC's "Cartridge for the Generation of
Hydrogen" offers a superior alternative that
is safer, efficient, and cost effective.  AHTC
efforts are supported by a recently awarded
SBIR Phase I grant from the National
Science Foundation.

Since 2009, AHTC has been perfecting its innovative technology, Cartridge for the Generation of
Hydrogen. The cartridge offers a safe and controlled alternative to explosives by producing ultra-high
pressure (100
k+) in the form of hydrogen gas.

Who Can Benefit?

Anyone needing to perform a task requiring a large amount of directed power (energy) in a controlled and
sustainable manner. Our cartridge has several advantages over traditional power-generation methods,
